Here I am, still happy, at mile three. Just up the road on the right side was the Elvis impersonator. Gotta love memphis!

Here we are at the starting line just before race time. 10,000 people showed up to run the marathon and half marathon. That's a lot of crazy people!

My camera has been out of order for weeks. Fortunately all of the really good pictures were captured on Mama Clark's camera when she was here. Well, actually, if we were being honest, the really good pictures were on Uncle Stu's camera. However, somehow the little man erased every last one of them. He's such a techno-wizard!

A Textbook Baby

Carter is diligently studying Bryce's anatomy book. He loves to take books off the bookshelf and look thru them. So far we haven't had too many calamities, he's been fairly gentle with them.

Halloween Party

Last Thursday we had a Halloween party at our mommies group. Carter was a baby shark for our ward halloween party, but I didn't dress him up again on Thursday.

Post hair cut!

I just stood Carter up on the countertop in the bathroom so that he could see himself in the mirror and then cut his hair with the clippers. Look at the handsome little fellow!

Carter wants to walk so badly! In fact, he doesn't just stroll behind his push toy- he RUNS! It's so funny to watch him zooming around the livingroom.

Friday night our family activity was decorating a Haunted Gingerbread house for our Halloween decoration. Carter discovered the orange frosting. He was the happiest mess I've ever seen!

Forget trying to fill daddy's shoes, Carter is trying to fill Bryce's socks.

Windows

Carter has discovered that the windows are the perfect place to pull himself up b/c his little chubby hands stick to the glass quite well. This picture was taken after he had been pounding on the glass like a little caged bear at the zoo.

Golfing in Arkansas

On the way home from Fort Smith we stopped in a little town in the middle of nowhere so that Bryce could golf at a course designed by a professional golfer who lives in memphis. (I can't remember the name of the town, or the name of the golfer... ) Here he is standing next to his golf cart. Isn't he the cutest little golfer you've ever seen? His Christmas clubs have gotten a lot of use this summer!

Our final stop in Eureka Springs was a sanctuary for big cats. These cats are rescued from wierdos who, for some reason, buy them and then realize that they can't actually take care of them.

Our Trolley Ride

While we were staying in Fort Smith we took a quick day trip to Eureka Springs, AR. Wow! What a great town! We rode the trollies around town, and enjoyed being tourists for the afternoon.
