Statue of Liberty

Here we are on the ferry to the Statue of LIberty and Elllis Island. We left the hotel after the rest of the group b/c Carter was still snoozing when everyone else left. We grabbed breakfast in Battery Park as we were hurrying to stand in line for the ferry. Yeah, that's right... I had a HOT DOG for breakfast. Naturally that is the best choice for breakfast when you are going to be riding a ferry over choppy water for half an hour! Fortunately I survived (hooray for the cool breeze and cloud cover!)

The Tanner Trip

So obviously Carter is sitting on my lap chewing on something b/c his shirt is covered in saliva. He looks happy! In the picture his hair doesn't look much different, but it is lighter and much shorter. He looks like a BIG BOY, not my little baby!

Carter Eats Cheerios

Our little man has finally mastered the skill of eating cheerios. Sure, most of the cheerios still end up in his lap, stuck to his arms, or ground into the floor, but he's feeding himself!

Bryce's Birthday

To celebrate Bryce's birthday we (Carter and I) made a lovely, large German Chocolate cake. Yummy! We graciously shared it with some friends. Just before the friends arrived Bryce sat down to open his presents.

Carter and I found some shadow boxes to showcase Bryce's 1/2 marathon finishers' medals. We also framed his finisher certificate and two to his racer's bibs. We are excited to (eventually) get moved into our new apartment where we can hang them in HIS OFFICE!
