Reindeer in Cortez

While we were in Cortez, Carter was able to go to the local 4 Seasons greenhouse to meet one of Santa's reindeer.

Erin Changes a Tire

Before we left for UT/CO I arrived home from the gym one morning to find our tire almost flat and loosing air very quickly. Bryce left for school so I proceeded to change the tire so Carter and I could take the car to our nieghborhood tire place to get the tire fixed. Naturally the tire was beyond repair, so we were lucky enough to get to buy a new one. Honestly, I can think of at least 10 things I'd rather spend $80 on!

Fortunately I documented the event so that I can share the pictures with all of you!

Carter's Birthday Celebration

Nothing says Happy Birthday like carrot cake, cream cheese frosting, and a swirly candle!

P.s. The cake was made with whole wheat flour, carob chips, and evaporated cane juice :0)

Post Race

Carter admires my finisher's medal. I actually felt pretty good- all things considered!

Mile 3

Here I am, still happy, at mile three. Just up the road on the right side was the Elvis impersonator. Gotta love memphis!

At the starting line

Here we are at the starting line just before race time. 10,000 people showed up to run the marathon and half marathon. That's a lot of crazy people!
