Carter's New Clothes

Carter digs his new sweat pants and t-shirt. He was feeling so uber-stylish that he asked to have his hair spiked as well. What a little fashion guru!

Carter's most favorite toy ever is a red mylar balloon I got at my MK meeting last night. He thought it was amazing that it could float all the way to the ceiling when he let go. Daddy kept having to lift him up to get it down.

Carter's New Keyboard

This weekend I dragged Bryce to a children's consignment sale with me. I should have known better! We left with a little tiny keyboard and another loud toy. No clothing! Oh well, Carter is delighted. 5 points for Daddy :0)

Soap Car Derby

Bryce and I (along with Carter) had the chance to attend our stake's annual daddy/daughter derby date. Last year the YW and their dads created cars out of veggies and raced them on the pinewood derby track. This year the girls and their dads created cars from bars of soap. Here are some shots Carter and I took of our girls while Bryce was trying to figure out how to get the wheels on our car.

A Carter Update

Here are Carter and mom taking pictures of themselves. Mom had to snap the picture b/c Carter's arms just aren't long enough!

Just like every other Mormon kid in the great US of A, Carter can always manage to find a basketball at any Church function. He found this ball while Bryce and I were helping with the Daddy/ Daughter Soap Car Derby.

Reindeer in Cortez

While we were in Cortez, Carter was able to go to the local 4 Seasons greenhouse to meet one of Santa's reindeer.

Erin Changes a Tire

Before we left for UT/CO I arrived home from the gym one morning to find our tire almost flat and loosing air very quickly. Bryce left for school so I proceeded to change the tire so Carter and I could take the car to our nieghborhood tire place to get the tire fixed. Naturally the tire was beyond repair, so we were lucky enough to get to buy a new one. Honestly, I can think of at least 10 things I'd rather spend $80 on!

Fortunately I documented the event so that I can share the pictures with all of you!
