Thursday Morning

I don't know if you can tell from the picture but this is a shot of Carter sleeping on his side with his head on Bryce's pillow. He learned to do this watching Bryce and now he seems kind of put out when I put him down in his crib, on his back, and with no pillow. (mean mom!)

Spring has Sprung

Carter saw me pull out the camera and tried to hide, fortunately, I got him before he could disappear completely!

It was so warm yesterday that I had to pull out the shorts so Carter's little legs wouldn't get hot. I had to fold them over at the waistband b/c they went down to his ankles.

Carter's New Trick

This is what Carter looks like when I lay him down in his bed...

This is what Carter looks like as soon as I leave the room. So far he won't roll over while I'm watching but as soon as I come back he's already on his belly.

He gets stuck once he rolls to his belly so he has to have a little help getting over to his back. Good thing mom's there to help!

Last night I put him in his bed and went to the bathroom to get a washcloth. When I came back he was on his belly. I was so surprised that I grabbed him and took him to show his new skill to Bryce. He still won't perform for an audience, but maybe when he masters his trick he'll be willing to show off.

He's growing so fast!

And More March Madness...

This was Carter's throne for the tournement games on Saturday. He kept his blanket and his puppy close at hand in case he needed to cover his eyes during the stressful last few minutes of the close games.

Carter loves his hat that Aunt Trena brought him. He wears it proudly! He has come home and taken to his saucer with a vengence. He can manipulate everything- he's so big! Last night he kept pushing his "moo chew" toy off the tray and then looking at me with a very pleased expression on his little face.

Uncle Stu told us that we needed to make sure to put the football in Carter's hands. So, Saturday while watching March Madness he was holding his football. It's important to be well-rounded!

Making the Bed

Once again, Cater proved to be much too cute for me to not stop and take pictures. While we were in Colorado Gramma showed us several cute pictures of Bryce as a baby. We were impressed at how much Carter looks like Bryce. The blanket in the middle picture was one Bryce had when he was little.

Let the "Madness" Begin

This weekend Bryce and Carter dilligently watched all of the conference championships that were on TV. They are eagerly awaiting Thursday night's BYU game. Go Cougars!!!!
