A week, or so, ago Mom, Bryce and I spent the day in Mountain Villiage and Telluride for Bryce's work party. They put on an impressive feast for us and then we took the gondola (it's free!) down into Telluride. We wandered around the shops there and enjoyed ourselves immensely (even inspite of the rain!)
We found a fun second hand clothing shop in Telluride. We had fun "trying on" several items. This is Bryce's SWEET shirt with an indian dancer on it. Unfortunately, we decided to be practical and didn't buy it.
The gondola ride from Mountain Villiage down into Telluride. Really, this little activity is a "must do" if you come down to Cortez.
Bryce is admiring my hat at the shop. Why is it that hat-wearing has become a eccentricity indulged in only by wealthy older women??? Bring back the hats!
Here we are in the Gondola on our way into Telluride.
