Our NEW House!

No Camera = No Pictures

Okay everyone,
In response to several comments, YES! I know our blog needs to be updated, BUT, our camera didn't survive our last move and I don't get very excited about reading long blog posts w/out pictures. So, here's the Tanners in a nutshell: In August we moved from Memphis to Grand Junction, CO for Bryce's optometry externship.

In January we moved to Albuquerque, NM for his second externship rotation and in a few more weeks Bryce will be back in Memphis for GRADUATION!

We will be moving to Cortez, CO where Bryce has a job waiting for him. Yay!

All I can say is it's a darn good thing that a Mary Kay business is portable! All of you students out there understand how the end of a semester feels- not much loan money left! Thank heavens my MK money is buying our groceries and paying our bills!

Among other news... we are expecting baby #2 in June. Right now I'm feeling good and have energy- which is a nice change! (Especially b/c I'll be getting things packed up and moved AGAIN in a few weeks!)

Okay, that's everything. Might not be any more posts until I figure out the camera problem!

Practicing my director "look"

My director, Susan, was in town yesterday from Kansas City. In her hurry to leave this morning she left her things hanging in the closet. I called her about an hour after she left to let her know that her suit & all her cute clothes were hanging in the closet.

She laughed and told me to wear whatever I wanted to & to try on the suit. Hmm.... I thought... so, here's the proof. Picture this suit in Sapphire blue!!!

Only 2 weeks left of qualification. Send me prayers and happy thoughts so we can get finished!

We've been TAGGED

The Mama tagged Bryce and I, so I checked out our picture files and (shockingly) found a picture of the Carterman.

Here's the Carterman as a brand new baby boy. He was only a week or so old in this picture and I remember thinking "What in the world is the hospital doing letting me take this kid home- I don't know ANYTHING about taking care of a baby!"

Nana was (still is) always great about sending fun thing to us from Old Navy. Carter wore this cute hat until his head grew enough that it looked like a monkey yarmulke!

Carter LOVES Papa's "blue tractor". When we see any kind of large machinery carter will yell, "Papa! Blue Tractor!"

Who would have guessed that Stu would end up to be such a doting uncle. The other day Stu called to talk to Carter. At the end of the conversation Carter said, "Bye uncle Stu, wuv you!" Stu thought that was pretty cool!
